Nailsea Beer and Cider Festival Reportage

Well we rocked, or in our case, is that “frocked” the mighty Metropolis of Nailsea today.

Despite the rain, much beauty was created. We shed a tear for the beauty. The crowd were adorable, the organisers were splendid. And despite the rain, we came we saw and we folked.

We cannot not mention the impressive skills of PANTSMAN. For it was he with the PANTS of justice. Yes. HIM. He danced for us like YOU should dance for us. IN HIS PANTS.

M.O.D will hover on the street near Clevedon Pier again on Sunday 15th of this month. Just between us OK? We are friends after all. But just between us? Yeah? Don’t tell someone else, unless they’re likely to be interested, in which case tell them this, but make it sound slightly mysterious, so they get so excited that they squeak like those little pig things that live by my cupboard. Sometimes I look at the little pig things and laugh. Sometimes they talk to me and it makes me Very Happy.

Oh yes, don’t mention that it’s half four (I’ll change that if it isn’t, if that’s OK by you?)

Bandstand update…

Hello

Bandstand picnic update!

STOP PRESS… Event moved to The Campbell’s Landing Public House, opposite CLEVEDON PIER

Damn weather!

Your beloved M.O.D must be kept dry and sure-footed, however, so must YOU. We do not want a poor bedraggled soaked M.O.D fan. Or even FANS

So therefore the kind organisers of the BANDSTAND PICNIC have suggested that if it’s really really wet, we can play at the pub mentioned on this link. No, the link earlier in that sentence.

Watch this post for updates up until the day

Gig Clump

M.O.D are shortly to announce a clump of gigs during the next two weekends.

M.O.D now want to say the word “clump” again.

CLUMP.

There. M.O.D said it again. YOU CANNOT STOP THIS.

There will be more INFORMATION when The M.O.D Web Weasel has been informed of all details.
This will HAPPEN SOON.

Musical Rampage in Clevedon

Today, on this day, M.O.D feel honoured to have played a beautiful secret gig. It was so beautiful, Betty made tea for everyone. Hurrahs all round.
It was even more so beautiful because Alex said it was Beautiful. Alex is not given to such casually crafted hyperbole for he is normally VERY QUIET and NOT TO BE DISTURBED. We then made him stand in a puddle and threw beetles at him. We also laughed at him until he cried. We noticed his tears were made up of little spiders making webs. Betty then knitted the webs into bags to carry STUFF.

If you weren’t there, it is because you weren’t able to come. M.O.D do not think unkindly of you. M.O.D understand.

Actually M.O.D might hold it against you. Therefore you are charged with Attending The Next Gig. Or else.

Ok we’re all friends now aren’t we. Just our little joke back there.

Or was it?

Erratum

M.O.D wish to announce that the M.O.D Web Weasel has been ritually humiliated with vegetables, due to a timing error on yesterday’s SECRET GIG announcement.

The TOP SECRET GIG does in fact start at 1:30pm

If you are of military bearing, that is 13:30 HOURS.

Click the link if you need to re-acquaint yourself with the information. DO THIS, WE SHALL NOT TELL YOU AGAIN.

Thank you.

Signs of cogs and grinding machinery in M.O.D Towers suggest that the next performance is due. This heroic exploit will take place on the 8th of July.
Betty has been observed to apply stern measures to ensure that other members of M.O.D are brought to heel and do not utter views contrary to Betty’s Law of Discipline. Special dietary measures have been applied.
This, M.O.D will do for YOU, so that YOU may observe M.O.D in an untamed outdoor setting.
M.O.D will play this EVENT with a cavalcade of other splendid bands.
